Job Posting: Photo Booth Event Attendant/Technician

A local, growing entertainment production company is looking for a special person. Do you have what we are looking for?  Hours are 10-15 per week.  Starting pay up to $30/hour with regular performance bonuses. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Transport equipment to and from each event location
• Set up, tear down and test equipment; successfully troubleshoot, if needed
• Interact with event guests, attract guests to booth, have fun
• Encourage the use of props and keep prop area organized
• Respectfully work with DJ’s, event planners & event hosts to ensure a good time is had by all
• Cleanly and accurately build client’s memory book
• Assure all aspects of the event contract are fulfilled
• Communicate with supervisor as directed, including notification of event arrival and departure
• Within 48 hours, complete an event summary report and/or speak over phone with supervisor
• On non-event weeks, other duties as assigned, such as social media management, preparing client web galleries and CDs, creating content for our website, and coordinating/delivering email campaigns

Skills and characteristics you need to have:

• Proven reliability, courteous, friendly, on-time, positive/upbeat attitude
• Ability to read and accurately follow directions and instructions
• Willingness to do a variety of tasks, plus build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse audience
• Great communication skills – be a showman/show-woman
• Provide high caliber customer service with a smile
• Use a Windows based computer and learn some troubleshooting techniques
• Be self-motivated and have a desire to work independently
• Weekly availability on both Friday and Saturday; desire to work every weekend, or have every weekend availability to be on-call (as needed)

You also need:

• A valid, clean driver’s license, a working, clean vehicle and a working cell phone
• Willingness and energy to work long hours on Fridays and Saturdays (1pm until 1am)
• A desire to learn while having fun and be a responsible ambassador for the business
• Ability to lift 40 pounds (cart-assisted), squat and be on your feet for long periods of time (one booth style; not used very often)
• To pass a background check
• Social media, marketing or writing skills would be a BIG plus
